Greetings gentry, Any opinions on the Taurus tip up .22's> Have a Taurus .357 rev. the quality seems good. Thought about a Rem. style derringer, but these are hard to find in ne montana. Looking for a moderately priced, reliable and fairly small pocket gun (hence no revolvers-tend to look like one's stolen hard boiled eggs)

I had one. The trigger was dao but not too heavy and it was surprisingly smooth. Reliability was good. The only thing I didn't like was it shot about 4 inches high at 10 yards. Mark

Introduced to PT22 by L.E.'s carrying them as back-up.

Had mine for years, good gun. Find the right ammo (I use W-W Super-X).

They will beat up the frame after many firings, but Taurus will make it reight. Use only "standard Velocity" ammo! Mine also shoot a little high, but is sensitive to ammo. I'm a "minute" of beer can at 25yrds with it (I use federal ammo):D

I've got one, and have been very very happy with it.

I've got about 2,500 rounds through it now, and the only time it has ever bobbled has been with CCI Blazer ammo.

If I stick with Winchester Wildcat ammo, it is absolutely FLAWLESS.

The one thing I didn't like about the gun was the grips. Too blocky, too thick.

A couple of hours careful work with a dremel took care of that problem, though. Stained and varnished the stocks, and the gun looks good, feels good, and operates great.
