Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had experience with either the M94SS or the 970 Tracker .22LR? I am thinking on one of these 2 models. I am interested in people who own one of these. Thanks!

I really like the 94...I've owned one seems like forever. It took a bit of a break, but I picked it back up 2 years ago and since, I'll easily put 1000+ rounds in it every month.

Very sweet shooter. Got mine NIB about a year ago and had problem with rear adjustable sight (milled crooked). Taurus replaced it for free (paid shipping on rear sight only to factory). Long wait getting replacement part from factory (2 months or better). Replacement sight was perfect!

Once fixed, I find it a great little shooter that I put about 500 rounds through every month or so.

Small frame; rough small hammer that can wear on thumb if you're shooding single action a lot; somewhat small grip size for large hands (even for frame size); very accurate and reliable; nice lines; great in single action/not quite as great in double action (smooth but hard trigger pull); easy to maintain.

Bottom-line: It's a keeper that provides lots of fun with cheap ammo. If fact, the cheaper the ammo, the more my guns seems to like it!

Highly recommended.
