Tauras model 66B6?

Curious if anyone here has opinion/knowledge on this revolver. I'm a bit interested in it, just don't know anything about them.
Would be shooting .38spl/38+p mostly. Thanks.

Assuming it passes the revolver checkout and the price is right, I'd buy it. The model 66 is one of the more highly regarded Taurus models. I had a stainless version and other than a few tool marks and some stacking in the trigger, it was an excellent gun that I regret selling.

They are good guns despite what you hear. The 66 will shoot and hold up well at a better price but dont expect the refinement of a S&W. These are workhorse guns.

I had one a few years back and I thought it was a pretty good gun. Good finish, decent trigger, hit what I aimed it at as often as anything else I've ever owned. Mine was a seven shot with a 4" barrel. I traded it off for something smaller and lighter when I got my CHP. Knowing what I know now, I should have kept the Taurus.

I had thought if I ever saw another one as nice as that one, I'd buy it. Well, I didn't find a 66, but I did find a 65 from 1994. Same gun just with fixed sights, and only six shots. Nice gun really, and I got it for a decent price.

I really like the grips. They're between Smith & Wesson's Magna and Target grips, and I find them very comfortable.

66B4 here. I like it.
