I shoot Hi-power w/AR-15 & a Match upper. I'm Currently using a BSA Platinum 8x32x44 1/8 min.dot W/Warne QR rings. It cost me $99.00 + shipping and works good. I recently saw a Tasco 10x40x50 W/1/8 min dot for $129.00. I'm not interested in HI-Buck scopes as I have Never paid more then $300.00 for a scope. My hunting scopes are Leupold VarII-2.5x8 Mil-dot $279.00 and 2-Sightrons S-II 4x16 mil-dot & S-II 3x9 plex, both under $300. I read a couple of days ago that the Tasco scopes are a good buy and the quality is not bad. While I know that anything made by man can go bad, I had a riend that had a Mercedes 450 convertable that was constantly having problems, I've never had any problems with my BSA. I don't know anything about Tasco. Would appreciate any comments about the Tasco. THANX---Sneaky

I have a current (Chinese-made) 3-9x32 Tasco on my .357 Magnum carbine, and it works well enough, and certainly was cheap, but I see no reason to select it over the BSA. Unless you can afford another Leupold, I'd stick with the BSA.

I have that exact same BSA on a Savage varmint gun. I love it. Let me know if the Tasco is a step up. I'll get one too! ;)

I also listed on the art of rifle and got a reply fron a guy that had the same setup as me with the 10x40x50Tascoand he said it worked great. I'm going to do it and Natchess Shooters has it on sale for 119.99. That's a deal.

I have a Tasco Pro Point II, PDP2 on my .45 been shooting it for about 23 years, 10 years in competition I never had one prolem with this Tasco Red Dot still going. Recommend it highly. Hope this helps.
