Tasco Mag-IV Scope

I just bought a Tasco Mag-IV scope for my Ruger M77 Mark2 all-weather rifle in 7mm rem mag. Has anyone used one of these before? The salesman told me that they have better optics and are built stronger than the Tasco World class scopes. One more quick question, it there any way to adjust the eye relief on the Mag-IV? Thanks.

JWR - I think that will only move the point of eye relief, not make it longer or shorter.

I don't think it is possible to adjust the eye relief on that scope. Most scopes have a fixed distance eye relief, which unlike the focus or magnification, cannot be adjusted. I assume from the caliber you have it mounted on that you would like the ER to be a little longer. All I can say is wear the bloody and bruised ring around your eye with pride. :)

I had one mounted on a Rem 700 BDL in 280 Remington I sold and it performed as well as the Burris Signature that was on before it(as far as holding zero goes). I had that Tasco scope on an AR also and did well. It was the only Tasco I have owned that was worth the money I paid for it.
