Target scope recommendations out to 600 yds ????

Looking for recommendations for a NOT real expensive target scope, either single power or variable???? do be used out to a max of 600 yds.

How expensive, EXACTLY, is "not real expensive"? To some people that means $100, to others $500, and to others $750 - and everywhere in between.

BSA scopes are cheap and I haven't had any problems with mine. I have a 8-32 zoom Platinum on a varmint rifle that works pretty good. Check Midway for them. Got that one to practice with until I could get a real one (more expensive) and decided that the cheap one worked great.

the 6.5-20x50s at the end there. Seems like a much better deal than the "Big Sky" because it has a bigger objective lens and a side focus for the same price.


This Elite 4200 looks pretty good for a bit more:

It's a little more than $500, but you said plus or minus. Also has the side focus, which is a nice feature.

For targets at that range, and given it should be cheap, real easy question.

I'd get either:

- Weaver T-Series T-36 (Fixed power 36x w/target turrets)

- Sightron Target - 36X
