Hello there,
As you can see this is my first post here. I usually hang out over at 1911forum.com.
My father is looking for a rifle to target shoot with. He doesn't hunt so this rifle would be used solely for target shooting at the range.
My question is: What caliber would be ideal for this? I know a .22 would be sufficient, but somehow I don't think this would pack a sufficient enough punch for him to truly enjoy shooting it. Yet I don't think he wants a .50 cal either, LOL.
Looking for something that is not on the high end of the expensive scale in terms of ammo, but will still be enjoyable for him.
Don't worry about specific models of rifle, I will research that on my own, just looking for a specific ammo.
Thanks.
