I found one in used, but good condition, looks like a compact berretta knockoff, in full stainless steel and wood grips, .380 caliber, is it worth $99? Whats a good website to read up on these? It looked like the sites weren't very great, but I figured it would be a "fun" gun with probably not too much recoil.

Two parts

Ok,
Teo parts to this. The pistols are great and as long as you never ever, has to deal with EAA you will love the pistol. The first time you have to deal with EAA you will hate the pistol. They are the wworst company to deal with.

I strongly concure with the above post.

Tangfolio makes a decent firearm. My EAA Witness is a well made specimen, but with a feeding problem. I was confident the problem would be promptly squared away by the folks at EAA... man oh man, I would say that I was far more than a little off on that line of thought.

From your description, I would be interested in such a pistol. If you were to have any problems with it, tote it to a gunsmith that you trust. They are serviceable to say the least.

If it's in good shape i think it would be a good deal. It's still being made and it's called the witness european so getting parts for it would not be a problem except for dealing with EAA.

I would not pay more than $100.00 for a good used one.I would stay under $170.00 for a new one.I don't think they ever made them out of stainless steel, the one mentioned in your original post made be nickle plated or have the wonderfinish that looks like bead blasted stainless steel.
