tang site for stevens favorite

I just got an old Stevens Favorite and would like to put a tang sight on it but I'm having trouble figuring out which one. This gun is tapped with filler screws. The holes are 11/2" apart. Were these ever factory tapped?

Lyman made a site for this gun and it was marked with the letter F underneath the tang part. Those are the tang site screw holes that you see on the tang of the Stevens Favorite. I think they are tap 5-40 or 44. I used to have those guns and I had a tang site on each one.
