Talley scope rings and Savage Axis?

Quick question before I order. On Talley's website, They have the rings on there I want but they only say for a Savage Accutrigger.

Will the same rings work with the Savage Axis? Here is the part number for the rings. S940725
 
i oxn both the axis and the 111 series w/ accutrigger and as far as i know they are the same i think i remember reading that some where as well. check the website or the owners manual
 
Does anyone else know if this will work or not? Thanks Im planning on ordering the scope rings and bases today. Thanks.
The scope is Leupold 3-9x40

Go on someone elses web site, like EGW, and see if they offer the same part number one piece base for the Savage long and short action. The accutrigger has a rounded receiver and I believe the long and short actions MAY have different mounting hole spacing.
