1st, check make sure gun is unloaded..
2: drop the clip
3: pull slide all the way to the rear till it locks.
using your finger, push the extractor all the way down untill it stays put.. YOU MUST DO THIS OR THE GUN WILL LOCK UP!
4
ush in the slide lock "buttin on the right side of the gun untill slide lock starts to move out on the left side..
5: grab the slide, forcing it back slightly, while simultainiously pulling out the slide lock, once this is all the way out, you simply slide the slide straight forward and seperate it from the bottom frame.
WHEN REASSEMBLING: Make sure the extractor is still down. If you dont have it down and you slide the top part of the frame back on, The gun will lock up. ( I found this out the hard way)
Also important to do: when you slide the barrel back into place, there is a small "loop at the bottom of the feedramp of the barrel, when you re-insert the barrel and then replace the guide rod, you MUST make sure that this "loop" is pointing straight up!
When you place the guid rod on the edge of the "lip" near this loop, push the loop up with your finger untill it clicks. If it is not sticking straight up, the gun will lock up.
then follow the previous steps in reverse to finish reassembling.
I had my Gun lock up 3 times after i first got it either due to: Forgetting to make sure the extractor was all the way down or: forgot to make sure thatthe loop or ring was compleatly up in 90 degree angle to allow for the slide lock to fit back in..
