"Take a liberal shooting" day

Rather than sitting around griping about partisan politics and unconstitutional laws, why don't we start a grassroots effort ourselves? Many of us have success stories about how we took someone who "doesn't like guns" shooting and they found out that their fear evaporated on contact.
Let's all do that. Let's declare the first weekend of May "Take a Liberal Shooting" day.
Who's interested?
 
I'm up. Educating that masses about responsible gun ownership is the duty of every gun owner IMHO. Like many other liberal agendas, gun hatred is based on ignorance of the subject.

What part of Iowa do you hail from? I am in the CR area. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, shoot me a PM.
 
My girlfriend is a liberal. Easter weekend we're going shooting with her uncle (a fellow gun owner and NRA member). Then my buddy and his girlfriend are planning a shoot with us. His gf is pretty left-leaning too.

I don't expect to convert anyone politically, but we'll teach two new shooters how to be safe. :)
