Tahmooressi in Mexico Prison vs Bundy Ranch

Thousands showed up to support, protect & force an outcome at the Bundy Ranch.

Now, since about April 1st, Marine Andrew Tahmooressi has been held in a Mexican prison for no real reason. He was forced into Mexico. He could have simply been ushered the other direction as he asked. Barrak Obama Sadam Husein Bin Ladin isn't going to do a thing, since he is against gun owners and our military.

My point: Can we make a plan on social media like this and have a few thousand show up to surround the prison and demand his release? The drug cartels do it. Why not us? No guns, no violence. Just thousands show up and clog every road in all directions and deliver a strongly worded demand letter to the head of the prison. No one comes or goes until Tahmooressi is released.

After that!, maybe we can show up at the New Jersey prison and force their hand on Shaneen Allen.

We need to stop being on the sidelines and just hoping and praying that our government does the right thing. We can't just talk and hope things get better.

Of course, with either of these, we need some intelligent analysis of several worst case scenarios and how to deal with them.

Bundy was vs an issue. These two are both about issues and the government, but much more appealing victims of government abuse.

Showing up at a Mexican Prison as you suggest is at least foolhardy for you if not potentially life threatening, for Andrew T.

Please don't consider doing that.

You do realize that the prison is in Mexico, right?

Thank about that for a minute or three ... it has implications. (Such as, American laws do not apply.)

The worst-case scenario is that people get seriously hurt. Slightly less terrible is the fact that it could make all of us look very bad.

We can't just talk and hope things get better.
We still have the ballot and the courts. We've been making strides in both areas.

Rash and childish statements like that don't make us look any better.

This one started off on the wrong foot, and I don't see it going anywhere constructive.
