Tagua Holsters .... too stiff

I picked up one of the belt slide half holster deals from them for my 1911 when I got it. It was stiff but not to much worse than my don humes or bianchi's. It breaks in with wear.

Kind of cool to see this thread. A local sporting goods store here sells them, and I bought one. However, I've never seen or heard anyone else talk about them. Mine was stiff at first, but the more I wore it the more it broke in.

Whatever you do, don't use anything to promote "break-in". I have Don Hume and Galco products, and they are all stiff to begin with, but if you use any type of oil or conditioner, you may tend to make the leather too soft. The best way to break in a holster is simply by using it. A soft, flimsy holster doesn't do a very good job.
