Another option is a rig that makes a standard belt holster into a leg holster. I have seen pics and heard stories of guys over in Iraq ( I can't find the site that had the pics, but it was a army guy's site which gave some good advice for new guys going over, to make their lives easier) doing this because the GI issued belt holster for the M9 stinks because the weapon is too high for some and hard to draw. I don't know if it can be store bought, if it is a military issue, or if an improvised hilbilly rig with stuff found on hand.
