Tactical Defense Solutions & Ammunition to Go: Opinions?

Hello Everyone,

Has anyone bought ammunition for their handguns from Tactical Defense Solutions or Ammunition to Go?

If yes, how do they handle shipping larger quantities (e.g., a case) the ammunition? Free over a certain dollar amount? By weight? By dollar amount?

I have been looking into buying some of the Federal Tactical line from one of them and was wondering if anyone on the board had done business with them.

Any and all comments are more than welcome.

Just got my first order from Ammunition To Go a couple of weeks ago - 500rds 9mm, 500rds .223. They sent me what I ordered, shipping was based on weight but reasonable, I don't think they're padding it much. I'm happy and will buy more from them in the near future.
 
I've ordered from Ammunition to Go for a couple of years now - quite a bit of stuff and they have always been A+ to deal with.
 
I've dealt with ammotogo twice, both times was flawless. IIRC they base shipping on weight and they let you know during the ordering. The most I ever ordered at one time was 500 45acp and 500 9mm, never a mention of free shipping.
 
I have used Ammunition to Go. I have found them to be prompt, reliable, and quick to provide customer service in the event of backorder or sold out or unavailable ammo. I think they use a flat rate shipping though it may be weight based. I never thought to ask. Their checkout page calculates your shipping for you prior to completing the purchase.
 
Just echoing what the above posters have said. Ammunitiontogo.com has worked well for me. I've ordered a few cases of Federal Tactical LE 127 00 Buck from them. 250 rounds of buckshot is HEAVY, but the shipping was around 25.00. Not bad considering.
 
Ran across this thread and thought Id say "HI" and extend a discount for the holiday.
