TAC TRIGGER

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the TAC Trigger i have been seeing lately at the gun shows. I have an AR and a NHM-91. Wondering if they actually work.

any info would be appreciated thanks.

Never used one, but...

You can do the same exact thing by using the "bump" method. This works best from the hip. Squeeze the butt of the rifle against you hip with your firing elbow and place your index finger in the trigger guard on the trigger. Grab your forend with your off hand and pull the rifle forward while keeping your firing hand stationary. When the trigger finnaly engages, keep the forward pressure with your off hand. With practice you will soon be able to empty 30 rnd mags in mere seconds...rather expensive but sure to put a silly grin on your face.

It is your money!

You know, the most fun I have with my M1A is shooting the National Match Course. It requires great marksmanship skills and it is a lot of fun to hit a target at 600 yards with open sights. I never go out to just waste ammo anymore, especially when that ammo costs so much. I leave the ammo wasting to the .22. So with this in mind, do you really want to waste your money on a TAC trigger just so you can waste the rest of your money on ammo and not come away with any better marksmanship? Save that ammo and go to the biggest most wide open country with a hill and shoot at objects out to a 1000 yards if you are going to waste ammo. More productive and it lasts longer.

That is just my two cents and if you still want to waste away ammo, enjoy. ;)

I am sure that's exactly what he has in mind. Fun is not always cost effective or educational.

YoYo- The only trigger thingy that I have seen that works well was the 2Xtrigger. (Rifle fires when you pull the trigger and again when it is released.) Its not as fast as some of the other options but it was reliable.

Second that on the GAT. I bought a BMF 'activator' and that piece-of-crap isn't worth the plastic it's made out of. The GAT is much more solid and works better than I thought it could.

The Auction sites usually have a few of them and shipping is cheaper there also. The advantages of the GAT are that it doesn't rely on 'inertia' and you can hold the gun in any position. I suggest a bipod if you want to hold anywhere near on target.
