T/C Encore?

Have a buddy that wants to sell his T/C Encore and wants to know the value of it. It was given to him by his uncle several years back He's run into the some hard times and needs to scale down his collection so to speak. :(

He has:
TC Encore Frame
Butt stock (Walnut)
3 forearms (walnut)
7mm Rem Mag HB barrel Blued
243 Win Blued
50 Cal Muzzle Loader Blued

I looked at Buds and it looks like the T/C's themselves are around $500ish new. Everything is in great shape and he hasn't fired them but a few times since receiving them from his uncle.

He doesn't want to go the pawn route as he/I know he will get screwed there. Besides the forums here, where all should he try and sell it? Gunbroker? Thanks ahead of time
 
Try multiple online forums. There's dozens of big boards with "for sale" forums. Hunting forums would obviously be the best option for an Encore sale, as opposed to someplace like Glocktalk or SigForums.

Gunbroker will get a big audience but it costs more to list and sell, and requires FFL involvement if out of state. Honestly, I seldom bother shopping at gunbroker unless it's a real specialty item. It's too cluttered with small gunshops selling used guns at large markups.

Selling it online, but local FTF only is the easiest route, but would likely take a long time.

Consignment sales at a local gunshop is another option, as is posting it for sale at the bulletin board for your local range.

Rough price

Frame $275 with stock.
Each barrel $225 or so with forarms.
This will depend a lot on condition and make of the barrels. sights or scope bases etc.
