T/C encore pistol info

I am interested in purchasing a t/c encore pistol in .204 or 22.250 caliber and would like info what I can expect out of each caliber such as accuracy, distance, recoil, etc. I plan to use it on coyotes, prairie dogs and plinking at targets. Any advice would be appreciated. I currently have these calibers in my encore rifle and would like to try them in a pistol. Thanks.

Don't know about the .22-250. The recoil from a .223 in the Encore pistol setup is negligible. I shoot mine in one of two ways. I have a rifle scope on the barrel - from the prone position, using a little six inch monopod that I made from two rubber cane tips and a dowel. I hold it under the barrel with my left hand, one finger wrapped around the bbl. Very steady. Recoil does not move it in any substantial way. Very accurate. Though my eye is very close to the scope, there is no problem with the recoil.
The other way is standing up - again with the rifle scope - left hand around the barrel , elbows tucked in and eye close to the scope. A modified "Taco" hold.
