T & B Bullets

I am new to this so what "blows my skirt up" may not be that big a deal for others. I bought some lead bullets from T&B Bullets https://tbbullets.com/
and loaded them up. I got the 147gr lead flat nose 9mm bullet. I liked them and ordered 300 more last night.

I got an email this morning saying the free shipping (standard...) is a built-in cost and after seeing my order would actually cost me more (for that shipping) than he thought fair! :eek: So he threw in more bullets at no charge to make his conscience feel better. WOW!!!

So I thought the least I could do was give them credit where I could. Nice (and fair!) people. I liked the bullets, too. Seemed well-made (but whadda I know...?) with tapered bottom. Check 'em out.

Still, I am buying lead 9mm bullets for .06 each.

I looked at the site. $35 for 500 with $16+/- shipping. T&B is $43 for 500 shipped. What am I missing? (Granted, I SUCK at math :( but it looks like T&B would be less...?)

I don't do hi-volume so didn't look too far. I believe T&B sells lots of 100, 500 and 1000. I didn't want 500 (I have other bullets) so ordered 3 - 100 packs. With shipping built in he felt like I was overpaying (times 3) like that and so wrote me to tell that he was throwing in some extra at no cost.

I really only wanted 300 but if he's gonna be a standup guy and send freebies what am I gonna do? :D I'll just not have to order more anytime soon....
