Last week on saturday i purchased a K11. Yesterday on the range (100m) the best group in prone postion was about an inch (25mm). Unfortunately i forgot my cam, i was previousley too exited.

best regards from germany!

K11

Nice rifle. I have the K31. Looking at pictures, I cannot see much difference between the two. Position of the tangent sight and the magazine?
I haven't shot it from the prone position. My experience with other military rifles has been that military stock shape is not kind to my face as far as recoil is concerned. How was the K11?
What was bolt operation like? How much did you have to move your head? Or did you?
What ammunition did you use?

The bolt operation is nearly the same as the K31, very smooth. The barrel is about 2,5 inch shorter than the K31, the bolt himselve locks in the middle of the receiver, the K31 directly in front of it.
The K11 is using a barrel collar. He free-floats the barrel and contribute to the rifle´s accuarcy. The recoil is comparable to a .308 Winchester. I am using the original GP11 so as i also in my K31 having in use, of which i own two.
In my opinion either the K31 and the K11 are a hallmark of craftsmanship in firearms.
Please excuse my poor english respectivly the sentence structure.
In the appendix i included a very good book which reports on the development and use of the swiss rifles and also describes assembly and dimensions.
