I recently read a cool article in the 1996 Gun Digest about the Swiss Feldscheissen. This is a really cool rifle shooting event were preactically everybody in the country that can stand, lie on their stomach, and sit on their arse goes and shoots in local competition.

The weapons they use are either the old Swiss stright pull bolt Schmidt Rubins (7.5x55mm Swiss). The Sig STG 57 (7.5mm) and the Sig Stg 90 (5.6mm) (Both w/ full auto capabilities) The 90 is what every body MUST have in their house (way cool!!!!)

Anyhow the Stg 90 uses a 5.6mm cartridge. How does this differ from the 5.56mm NATO round that we stuff our AR-15s with?

Thanks

Orso
