Swift spotting scopes

Does anyone on this forum have any experience with the Swift Lynx spotting scope? I'm interested in it strictly as a range spotting scope (under 200 yards), but I hesitate to purchase it without hearing from folks who have actually used it. Thanks.

I can't remember how many spotting scopes I've owned but it's been a heck of a learning process. One thing I can tell you "speed costs money, how fast do you want to go"?

Scopes are optics, plain and simple. While cheap scopes are much better today than they were even just a few years ago, an investment of a few dollars will give you optics that do what you expect them to. Don't expect too much from a cheap scope.

Expect to pay at least $300 to $400 for a half decent scope. Both Nikon and B&L have reasonable scopes in that range.
