Swede Mauser scope mounts

Fellas, I've been trying to find some mounts for a Swede Mauser that will fit the rear bridge. There are two rear bridge configurations. The early guns have one curvature and the later (M38) guns have another. All of the mounts that I've tried will fit to the point of being level with the front base, but not in full contact with the rear bridge. It is as if the manufactureres found a common point on the two receiver variations and made a rear mount to "generically" fit either if such makes sense. This is primarily a cosmetics issue, but I don't like the idea of a mount with a partial gap underneath. Any ideas?

I've never used an S&K. I'm sure it would work well, but I'm building a more classically inspired gun. The S&K wouldn't work for that look.
Thanks, Bill

May have to use the weaver mounts.I had the same problem this week.Leupold mounts would bolt on but a height difference wouldnt allow usage.Millet had the right heigth but wrong hole spacing on the rear bridge. Some gunsmiths in the past figured it was a Mauser and drilled everything on a 98 pattern. If you have a 96 without the hump , Weaver bases is the only thing that works.Just lap the rings for a perfect fit.
