i got a Swedish '96 Mauser bayonet for a steal at a knife stand a bit back, and heck if i didn't just notice the blade is the least bit crooked!
info:when looking at the blade dead on, with the sharp end facing you, you can see the blade is at an about 3-5% angle to the handle. i don't take it out of the sheath much, and i don't have a '96 to fix it on, but it just... bugs me. y'know. what can i do? do i leave it as-is, or should i ask a knife-maker to straighten it a bit? what would that cost (approx)?
