Have any of you ever tried using a 19 barrel in a 26, a 23 barrel in a 27, etc?
If you have, did you notice anything? Better accuracy? Different balance? Reliable feeding?
I'm not really asking for a specific reason. I'm just bored and curious.
I "permanently" installed my 19 barrel in my 26. The 19 has an aftermarket barrel in it. I like the look and guess the extra few fps from the longer barrel can't hurt. I notice no loss or gain in accuracy or point of impact. Nothing really changed from the original barrel length other than the look.
Sorry, meant to say that the link covers what's possible. I'll leave it up to those that have actually swapped barrels to answer the other portion of your question.

"Get yourself a Lorcin and lose that nickel plated sissy pistol."
the breech cutout of the G21 is bigger than the G20 - right?
also - (and this I dont know - but the 9mm and 40sw barrels are different O.D.'s) is the G21 barrel outside diameter larger than the G20 barrel?
so you have a little slop and it still works?
hmmmm....... If the breech cut and barrel dia are different, I am really surprised that it works at all... perhaps it is a testiment to Gastons design.
Having said that I would really be interested in trying to get firedragon or olympic (or ?) to make a 10mm barrel with the G21 external barrel contours. I might be able to use those orange G20 hicaps I have after all!!
