I own a SW99 in 45acp. The S&W catalog and website both push the gun as a 10 plus 1. Now I can get 10 rounds in the mag, but only with the slide locked back. If the slide is forward, the mag won't lock in. This means that although the mag has a 10 round cap. It's not a 10 plus 1 because you cant have a round in the chamber and a 10 round mag in the well. I've brought this up to S&W via e-mail and asked them to explain why they are either misleading costomers, or too stupid to understand what 10 plus 1 means, and they won't answer me. Keep in mind I did'nt call them stupid in the e-mail. Does anyone else own this gun and have an explaination, or an opinion?
