SW99 and P99 in 45 apc

About right for IDPA or IPSC/USPSA.

There will be a lot of discussion over what match Division (equipment based) they are best suited for, but don't worry about that now. Just show up, admit you are a new shooter, and follow directions.
NOTE: Both sports call for drawing from the holster (IDPA out from under concealment) moving, shooting while moving, reloading, and taking awkward positions to get a clear shot. I suggest you look up some videos to see if you are interested in action shooting.

In addition to the gun, you will need a holster, extra magazines (lots of extra magazines for USPSA), magazine carriers, eye and ear protection, and a concealment garment (vest or jacket) for IDPA.

The organization websites have club finders by state.
