Even if every one and their brother wasn't having this problem I would not buy a gun that had a screw that was part of the regular take down not mention holding the barrel on the gun. Glad to see Ruger didn't follow that lead with the new MKIV.
Think of all the threaded devices, nuts and bolts that hold your cars together.
Nothing wrong with them if they are designed correctly.

Right... agreed. But to add to the general nut stew, that thing turns in it's recess. How can that possibly hold the barrel if it's loose? How is it attached? What are those three holes?
