SW J frame grips on a small or Taurus???

Yes they do...but you have to drill a new "pin hole" on the inside of the grips. Its not hard to do if you have a slight bit of patience and a drill :D
Heres a pic of Taurus grips I made for my J frame...had to do the same thing in reverse.....
Shoot well

Hey Eric: That's clever

I think Taurus makes just about the niftiest standard-issue soft rubber grips imagineable for snubs. What I did was get the Taurus aftermarket rosewood boot grips for my M85; then I put the shorter M85 grips on my Mod 605. Voila......The 605 is now a really compact little pocket cannon and the M85 grips absorb the power beautifully. The recoil comes to the heel of my hand with the shorter grip and I have no loss of control.

The only real differance between a Smith J frame and a Taurus 85 is the price, and I'm told Rossi is now made by Taurus. I've inter changed grips on all of them
