SW 625 45acp

I am in the market for a 45acp revolver and this seems like the only one to come up. I know tarus has one coming but its only 5shot. Please leave some info on what you guys think. Also i was wondering if you guys know of a webpage that has a prices? A buddy of mine told me of a page called gunfinder or soemthing like that. all your help would be great thanks.

I just sold my 5 inch. I'm going to replace it with a 4 inch for IDPA someday.

625 bargain

I picked up a mid-90s 625 for $399 about a month ago. I actually asked if that was the right price before buying it.

I've got a nice little Cimmaron Thunderer birdshead in 45 Colt that came complete with a 45 ACP cylinder. Single-action of course. I love this little revolver for my cowboy shooting.

The Ruger Vaquero (and the Blackhawk I think) will both fire 45 ACP and 45 LC, using different cylinders.

I've had the 5" gun for many years (bought it in late '94, sold it in early '96, bought it back in early '00), and just bought the 4" gun last weekend; asking price was $400, got it for $350 out the door. Fine guns, and I highly recommend them. If you live in an area where there's a lot of wheelgun competition going on, you'll find that used 625's with the hammer-mounted pin frequently sell for as much as new ones; my $350 deal was definitely an anomaly...
