Suspenders are cool!

I did this little mod to some suspenders that came with plastic clips to attach to the belt. They were leaving some ugly marks on the belt....if you could get them to work at all.
Leather wrap around snap straps, problem solved.
But what I was impressed with was how the suspenders TOTALLY eliminated the weight factor of the gun and holster.
Of course the belt is the foundation and support of the gun and holster....but the weight is still there and can be felt......with these suspenders, the weight is gone!!
I know you suspenders wearers are probably thinking...well daahhhh....but it's new to me, and I'm kinda tickled about it.

Perry Suspenders for the win folks! I have been wearing them for years and have only broken one and that was because I hung it on the door of an 18 wheeler I was exiting and it couldn't hold up my 300lb carcass!

I hated suspenders when all I could find were the kind that clip on to your pants. The Perry suspenders clip onto your belt with a strong plastic "j" hook that will not pop off during use!

I am in no way affiliated with this company and am just a user of their products who pays for all of their products I use.

Yep, I frequently wear my Perry's while carrying. The only draw back I've noticed is poking the small of the back from the back plastic clip while driving. They hold up your drawers real gooder :D

I take it that the clip arrangement will accommodate any size belt? Like a 1/4" thick 1 1/12" that I typically wear.

Nnobby......1/4" thickness may be too thick for those plastic clips, but still go into them........but they will leave dents/creases in the belt.
No way to treat a nice leather gun belt, which is why I opted to these leather straps.

Never trust a guy who wears suspenders and a belt, if he can't trust his own belt, you can't trust him.

All kidding aside, I do wear suspenders. (and a belt). My stomach isn't that big yet, but I carry a revolver in my pocket, plus a Leatherman, not to mention the other junk in my pockets (not the same pocket with the revolver). To keep my pants from slipping down I'd have to have the belt so tight it's uncomfortable, so I do were suspenders.

I have hoots that go on the belt loops, for some reason about five years ago I automatically got allergic to metal. Any snaps that touch the skin burns. The hook on the belt loops prevent touching the skin.

I like the OPs set up, it it wasn't for the metal rivets.

They work great with my gunbelt. It is my daily wear rig! The clips are super strong and can handle a pretty thick belt in my experience!
