And, I've seen Rosie packing a gun in at least two movies.

Didn't she also play the bleeding heart nun in "Dead Man Walking" about the true life story of a convicted first degree murderer awaiting the electric chair? Typical and consistent of fuzzy-headed liberal ideologues: pro-criminal, anti-gun.

I saw her on C-Span at the MMM. I was motivated, nodding, and encouraged by her speach citing the the issues children and American society face right up to the point where she threw in the "guns are bad/the root of all evil and must be banned rhetoric" at the end.

Susan Sarandon is another of the anti-gun Hollywierd elite that will make movies with lots of guns and violence but don't think that the common Joe should have them. Stupid f****** b****.

I like Sarandon's acting, and she's still very attractive. Unfortunately, if I had to limit my choices of movies to watch to those starring conservatives, I'd be watching "The Terminator" and "Die Hard" over and over. (OK, I _do_ watch those a bit too often :) )

Ours has become a celebrity-driven society.
Even the reporters are now celebrities, and what once were news shows are now broadcasts of reporters interviewing each other. The Million Morons get their information from people whose only claim to fame is to look good in front of a camera, and to have gained or lost weight rapidly. You go, girl! If it ain't on Oprah, they don't know it.

Maybe we should go back to having testing for voters. If you can't name five cabinet secretaries, you can't vote.

I've often wondered why when congress has a big debate about drugs, guns, disease, or any other topic, they don't invite a specialist in the field to testify, but they always have plenty celebrities. Rosie O'Donnel, Michael J Fox, Christopher Reeve, ect...
This is actually more of a reflection on the congressmen we elect than on the celebrities. For God's sake people, VOTE or lose the right!
