Survior Rudy/Seal Team Two plank owner

I just finished reading James "Patches" Watson's book Point Man. In it he says Rudy Boesh, currently on Survivor, was one of Roy Boehm's three Chiefs when Boehm founded Team Two. He goes on to describe Rudy as a hell of a man. I have a lot of respect for all of those guys and this makes me want Rudy to win even more. Just thought you guys might be interested.

By the way, I highly recommend Point Man. It is a great book with a lot of history and personal perspective in it. It says that Team Two was one of the first military units to adopt the AR-15 and that their chosen sidearm was the Model 19.

FWIW, I work with an ex-Seal who knew Rudy from the mid seventies to the mid eighties, when Rudy retired. My co-workers opinion of Rudy is that he is indeed a hell of a guy. As an aside, he told a story about Rudy sitting around a fire one night telling about when he was stationed on a patrol boat doing a tour on the Yangtze (sp?) river. How long has it been since the US patrolled in China? Whoa!

I REALLY REALLY want Rudy to win. He's the only totally up front and honest one of the bunch. His opinions may not be PC, but he says what he means and means what he says. I heard Vegas odds favor him to win at present over any others something like 3 to 1. If there is a God, the fat guy won't win. Can anyone tell me exactly how the votes are going to happen next week in the final episode? Is is the case that the remaining four vote ONE off, and THEN all (the 3 left and the "final group") vote for the one winner of the three? OR, is there just one vote, where ALL vote for one of the four currently remaining. It can make a difference when you stop to think about it. I was pumped that Kellie won the immunity challenge AGAIN, just to foil fat boy and Susan's plans...

I don't watch the show anymore, although watched the first and second episodes. I have a good friend in Los Angeles who is a former SEAL, Team One, (two tours in Vietnam) and he told me that although he never operated with Rudy, he knew who he was, and that he was the "real thing."

Here's lifting a Glenlivet for Rudy. J.B.

It will continue as is until there are two left. Then the jury that has been building up over the last month will vote for the winner out of the remaining two. I'm hoping that pain in the butt, Richard gets in the final two then gets voted off. Rudy gets my vote to win.

WOW! If they vote like normal down to 2 rather than 3, that means that, in order for Rudy to win, he must be in the final 2 (obviously). Well, that means the Richard/Susan coalition must break down. The men will probably stab Susan in the back during the last show. Obviously, if that's the choice, the jury won't pick Richard because he led the charge in getting them all off. That makes Rudy most likely to win, followed by Susan.

Futo, that's what I think will happen. I believe the others will respect Rudy a lot more than Rich or Susan because he has yet to lie about his intentions while they have done nothing but. I can't wait to see the results.
