If my congressional reps were like this...
Wonder if he would be interested in moving to CA and running for the US Senate?

Dear GOA members and supporters,
Every time we are forced to fight yet another defensive battle, I think how few additional leaders it would take in the House of Representatives to force the anti-self defense crowd on the defensive.
Washington state Representative John Koster is one of those leaders who would make a big difference.
Koster is running for the seat being vacated by conservative Republican Jack Metcalf, who himself served in the Washington state legislature before coming to Congress.
Rep. Metcalf has endorsed Koster in the September 19 Republican primary.
More importantly, Koster enjoys his earned reputation as a leader in the Washington legislature.
In one of his races for election to the state House of Representatives, Koster mailed every voter in his district a postcard. Underneath the address label was a message: "On the other side of this card is the answer to a very important question."
The message on the reverse quoted from the Second Amendment: "... the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." The question referred to was answered by this question: "Any questions?"
Koster has not been content to let the leadership of the Republican Party drift off course. He has stated publicly that: "It is time for this party to lead."
That would be a refreshing message if Koster were in the U.S. House of Representatives where Speaker of the House Hastert has tended to follow the media rather than lead his party toward fulfilling their own agenda.
Koster has joined with other likeminded Representatives and Senators to form a Conservative Caucus to create momentum for conservative initiatives, including firearms issues. Koster is the chairman of the group.
To summarize, Koster does not just vote right, he does not just act independently from his own party's leadership, he actually showed leadership of his own and organized other members of the legislature willing to fight for freedom.
There are not many candidates running each election with the qualities found in John Koster.
No matter where you live, John Koster will be a huge asset for the enhancement of your rights if he is a member of the U.S. House.
Please send what you can, be it $50, $100 or even the legal maximum of $1,000.
Please make your personal check out to Koster for Congress and send it to 1420 Hewitt Ave., Everett, WA 98201. Be certain to write to write "GOA" on the memo line so that the campaign knows your money is being spent to further gun rights.
Koster is in a September 19 primary. After that he faces an ultraliberal, very well funded anti-self defense councilman from Snohomish County.
The time to help Koster is now. Please be as generous as you can.
Sincerely,
Larry Pratt
Executive Director
