Suppressor on post-1994 M1A

I understand that the ATF has ruled suppressors as flash hiders and therefore these can't be used on post-1994 semis with a pistol grip and detachable mag as it creates a prohibited post-1994 assault weapon.

However, it occured to me that the M1A had a spare "evil feature" slot available before I would be compelled to hunt nuns and school children as it lacks a pistol grip.

Based on this, would it be legal to suppress an M1A or Mini-14 made after the ban?

As I recently learned from Cordex.....

ATF does consider a Suppressor to be a flash suppressor also.

As such, per the Assault Weapon ban, you get the two evil feature limit. So Yes, as long as you stay under the limit, you can add a suppressor to a post-ban M1A or Mini-14.
