Suppressed Pistol

Due to a recent turn of events I want to pursue a suppressed pistol (and rifle).

I know about the tax.

Any input on vendors, past experience, or advice would be great.

Leaning towards one for the Hi-Power, the 92F, or maybe a Ruger .22

Thanks,

If you have a Beretta, it's fairly easy to get a suppressor for it. My CIII dealer sent off the Beretta barrel to get threaded. Then I filled out the form, got the signatures, fingers, blah blah paid the tax and waited. Total cost including the tax - $825 (excluding cost of the Beretta)

The HK Tactical is a bit easier since it's already threaded. However, the suppressor for the HK costs more then Beretta's suppressor. I believe the Ruger is best bargain out of the group. - around $975 with the tax (excluding cost of the HK Tactical)

What is your requirement for a suppressed pistol and rifle?

As suppressed shooting is best done with a subsonic round, 230 gr 45 ACP is much
more potent than 9 mm or lesser rounds.

To use a suppressor on a semi auto handgun you must be very careful to select a
suppressor that does not adversely affect function or reliability.

Good luck!
