Gang,

I got a whole box of 200 grain .38 RNL slug today.

Well I wan to make some SUPER POLICE loads for my snubs. Maybe even .357 snubs!

Any ideas here?

just keep looking online for help. there are still people who use these loads in old service revolvers.

but according to old literature ive seen, eratic bullet velocity due to powder charge/barrel diam/bullet diam lead to the downfall. and the 38/44

The box of slugs I picked up look just like the ones on post #22 above.

Looks like Unique....3.6gr.....780fps...15,700psi. At least for .38s. Now with a magnum one could go higher but the magnum case is longer, thus the bullet would be seated out longer.

I'll have to experiment with my Speed Six. Plenty of strength there just in case.
