I took a shoebox and filled it with old books(wifes books) and set it up on a brace for the garage door. Filled my Ruger single six with these Colibri's and shot 50 rounds off. Pretty quiet, like a loud cap goin off and it does not go through the shoe box. also I stuck a shoot n see target on the box.:)

How was the accuracy for you? I've used these myself. They are quiet, but for me the accuracy was terrible. I was shooting at 25 yards however, perhaps they are meant for very close range shooting like in a garage.

I used to use these (and standard Colibris) in my garage with good accuracy. Shooting these in my unventilated enclosed garage, though, I was concerned about eventual lead exposure from the primer compound, so I switched to an air pistol.

I have found that accuracy falls off pretty quickly after ~50' even in a rifle.

I did a make shift test with my Single Six and Super Colibri's in my garage to test accuracy at 30'. I clamped my SS in the bench vise and fired a cylinder of Colibri's. The group measured just over 3/4", most going into a ragged hole and one flyer just out (Colibri's seem to vary on primer charge so flyers are not unusual IME).

Was only shooting at 35 feet(length of my garage) so they were pretty accurate. neet shooting in your garage though. They said not to use them in a rifle might jam, so I guess they would slow down alot faster in a rifle.:D

Have you tried the CCI CB loads? I wounder how they compare to the Colibri noise wise. I used the CBs in my rilfe and it is quiter than my pellet gun (have to manualy cycle the action) but a little loud in my Ruger MKI.

Not even seen the CCI'S yet. will try em If I see them. Also my Garage has A/C so It's vented . just hope I dont miss and a stray round goes through the window on the dryer.:D

Both the colbris and super colbris are quieter than the CB rounds. Colbris are something like 375 fps for a 20gr bullet and Super colbris are 500fps for a 20 gr bullet.

Use caution shooting them out of longer barreled firearms. The standard colbris will stick in many barrels and I occasionally have super colbris hang in the 24" barrel on my cz452 special. A cleaning rod or a colbri shell with a pulled bullet can be used to clear the stuck round.
