For those who followed my thread C.R. Sam & WESHOOT2 ANSWERS PLEASE:

Tried the Pachmar decelerators:
Dad didn't like them. The rubber gave a little too much grip. A little too narrow for him as well.

Put on a wood Houge monogrip with finger grooves:
Perfect for dad. A little wider across the back, he says it absorbs recoil a little better. The wood gave just enough slip with the heavy loads that they didn't try to remove hide.


Not saying the decelerators are bad grips, just saying that for dad the houges work better.

One more thing: Dad has big hands, the grip fit him perfect. My hands are a little smaller, the grip was just to big for me.
