Anyone have any experience with these 9mm PCCs?

Lately, I have been wanting a PPC in 9mm. However, I absolutely do not want an AR or anything that is fed through the grip. These seem to be pretty neat. Also, it needs to be high capacity because it's kind of pointless IMHO to have a PPC that's not high capacity.

I've been curious about these as well. I'd rather have one in 7.62 but they're cool. I've heard very little about them. Get one and do a range report! :)

The suomi is extremely heavy, weighing more then a FAL or HK91. As a semi-auto with a 16 inch barrel, it makes a horrible PCC. I would avoid it unless you like collecting WW2 weapons. This comes from someone who has plenty of pistol caliber carbines in his collection.

I don't mind a heavy gun. I want to know if anyone has one or use one?

I don't love the looks of it and I'm not into collecting WWII era guns. I do want a PCC that IS high capacity and NOT fed through the grip. The preference for 9mm is because it's affordable and widely available. .45acp would be nice BUT it is a little expensive. This gun looks like it could fit the bill.

Honestly, I would absolutely LOVE for Taurus to surprise everyone and have their new 9mm PCC be well made and reliable. I don't understand why this market is so scarce in choices.

I'm not sure about why you are so against the idea of having it fed through the grip, that seems like one of the advantages of a pcc to me. I shot an AR-15 9mm carbine and you really needed to smack the magazine in it or else it would fail, and that just isn't as easy with a forward mag well as it is in a pistol.

Other choices include the Berretta storm, but that feeds through the grip so I guess not.
There is the JR carbine (just right carbine) and something else made by Thureon defense. They both look like an AR but are designed around the cartridge better and may be different enough to suit your needs.

These are what I found after pondering getting a PCC for a while. I ended up deciding I would rather wait and get a M1 carbine which pretty much does everything a pcc can do better, except for ammunition expense which sounds like a preference for you. But also I like the collectibility of the M1 which also influenced my own decision, but think hard about why you want/need a pcc and the m1 or a modern interpretation of it might be what you need.
