Sunshade question

I recently purchased a discontinued Nitrex 6x20x50 TR one scope. Its a sweet peice of glass. I'm looking into getting a sun shade but I'm wondering....Being that the "original" Nitrex line is discontinued, will the "Nitrex by Weaver" brand be compatible (the sunshades) ?

As I understand it Weaver 0wned them for sometime and the same sunshade should fit as long as the objective size is the same.

now lets say its mid summer and im out groundhog huntin, the honeycomb covers would still allow "mirage" over a sunbaked hot barrel. but i guess either way i look at it, if i'm lying out in a field long enough for my barrel to get that hot, i probably fell asleep.
