Sunshade for my Leupold Scope?

I have a Leupold VariX II 3-9x40 scope. Do I have to use Leupold sunshades or can I use any other manufacturers' 40mm sunshades? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

the leupolds sunshade is for adjustable objectives only.(AO)

not sure for the other brands

Junk the sunshade & get a Flashkill by Tennebrex . It weighs nothing is 1/4 ' thick and will help protect the lense . I have them on all my scopes including a ReflexII .
