Summer carry

Just wondering what your favorite mode of carry is in the summertime. My normal CCW is a SIG229, but with warmer weather and a lot of tucked in shirts, I switch to my Glock 27.

I have a nice Galco Concealable I use when my shirt is on the outside, but am considering a Galco ankle glove (for long pants) or a Galco front pocket (for shorts/pants with big pockets). Anyone have any experience with these? If not, how do you like to carry when it's hot?

As an aside, anyone converted their Glock 27 to .357 SIG? What's involved?

Well, it depends on the demands of your job. If you have to dress up, I would suggest a Workman-style KyDex holster for your Glock 27. It allows IWB carry with a tucked in shirt.
Another idea with a tucked in dress shirt would be the Kramer Confidante, a mesh sleeveless T shirt with two elastic holsters built in.
If you can dress any way you want, try wearing an untucked polo shirt, you can conceal a fairly big gun under it---I carry a full size 1911 under one, over a tucked in tank top.

Glad you asked the question. I have aquired what I call Tactical Shorts, they are casual/dress shorts with large, knee level, rather large pockets. Actually, they are called cargo style khakis. They are made by the Faded Glory Jeans Co. You can buy them at any Wall-Mart. I have just tried placeing my Walther P99 in said pocket. IT WORKS!!! :) :) :)
This is how I intend to carry this summer. Although, I don't think that I am going to find a pocket holster that fits a full size auto like the P99. Summer carry, here I come! :)
