OK, here goes....
The ones I mentioned are good, add in the Lanber new. This is Spanish, lots of folks seem to like them over on Shooting Sportsman.
Both the Berettas and Brownings have their fans.
Browning after sale service seems pretty lackadaisical.
Beretta has good service,but their triggers oft need attention for best work. Their stocks have some odd dimensions also.
Both the B guns run well above $1K new, but used ones fall into your budget. One of these with a bit of work should give you a lifetime shotgun.
So would an old Superposed. These rarely come with choke tubes, but they last forever and rarely have regulation probs...
