Suggestions on a new scope.

I recently purchased a Ruger Hawkeye in 300 RCM and am now looking for a scope. I am looking at a Luepold or Nikon 2-7x33. Is this a good choice.

I love the Nikon Monarch 2-8x32 and the Nikon Team Primos 3-9x40. Both are outstanding scopes for under $300. A third possibility is the limited production Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9x40. All of these will outperform any Leupold in their price class. That's not a knock on Leupolds but you'll pay a lot more to get the same bang.

you can look at optic,s and price, but don,t over look service and leupold and burris have the best service barr none(they will fix or replace at no charge including return shipping). in 50 years of scope use i have found no better service. eastbank.
