Suggestions for new gun

Looking for suggestions for a compact semi auto for the wife. Needs to have a smaller grip for small hands. She is not comfortable with more than a 9mm, 380.

I suppose if there are ideas on revolvers also, that would be fine. Thanks
 
People will think Im Kahr happy...but Ill recommend them anyway.
The grip on the K" series is small enough, my 8 year old son can shoot my 40 and it doesnt jump from his hands.
Look at a K9, have her hold one in person...Ill almost guarantee you she will say...OK, we can go home now!
Its small and is pleasant to shoot.....take a look.

Sorry about the missed info...you could get her one of these also...its beautiful and the grips are smaller...I have large hands, but still find it nice to grip....Ill sell you this one...its brand new.

Kahr P9? Super light-weight with a really small grip. The K9 would be good too its just a little heavier.
There are so many compact 9mm and .380's to choose from, but if I had the coin to get my girl a 9mm it would be one of those.

CZ!

CZ 75B Compact is my all-time favorite. You can get it with a manual safety, a la 1911, or a decocker. Duo-tone with manual safety is mighty fine. Plus, you can use only the SA pull and ignore the longer DA trigger. Great for small hands.
 
maybe a L.W. commander in 9mm or a S&W 3" model 60 in 357
or a S&W K frame 3" or 4" 38/357 or one of those surplus p-38
pistols.
 
Get a "surplus-new" Bulgarian Makarov in the next few months, when they are available.The women i've shown handguns too ALWAYS prefer the Makarov over anything else i show them.
9x18 is a sweet round;)
 
Went through this with my bride. She wanted light, but she wanted to be able to shoot well with it.

She hated the KELTEC P-32..uncomfy to hold, and tough to get used to shooting.

Finally found her a user P230 Sig .380 with an Aluminum frame. It's much lighter than the steel and small enough for her to conceal. She can shoot it well also.

Got it at a great price.
