suggestions for base pad glue?

I know this isn't a sexy topic, but it's important anyway. I've just ordered some base pads for my 1911. These are Wilson's glue-ons. What glue should I use? Will Super Glue work? Thanks.

I use barge cement, available in marine supply stores. Scuff the bottom of the mags with sandpaper and degrease them with acetone or denatured alcohol no matter what adhesive you use.

Weldwood Contact Cement.

Coat both sides, leave it dry, and put them together.

Be sure of your aim the first time. Once you get them together, you're NOT going to get them apart.

Beware the man with the S&W .357 Mag.
Chances are he knows how to use it.

I've used both Barge and Weldwood. Superglue may not work, some of their glues don't work with rubber or plastics.
