Substituting bullet types

I'm looking at loading some 124 gr projectiles for 9mm. The recipe I have calls for an 124 gr jacketed bullet under 4.3gr of Silouhette. I found a good deal from Xtreme bullets on some 124 gr hollowpoints in 9mm and was looking at giving them a shot.

They are copper plated. Would these still be okay for use with this loading?
 
you can, I have, just don't push them too hard, I think X-treme advises not to push them over 1200 fps.

edit: specifically, I loaded the Xtreme 115gr hollow points with jacketed data, but I kept it off the maximum and worked up from the starting load.

Our Copper Plated Bullets can be run at mid-range jacketed velocities or higher end lead velocities. We recommend keeping velocities to less than 1500 FPS (Feet Per Second) and using only a light taper crimp

Any velocities over 1200 FPS we recommend either our Heavy Plate Concave Base or Hollow Point products for superior accuracy. We recommend keeping velocities to less than 1500 FPS (Feet Per Second) and using only a light taper crimp

All of our Hard Cast Lead Bullets are approximately 18 on Brinell, our Cowboy lead bullets are approximately 15 on Brinell.

Start = 4.8gr, Max = 5.8gr.

According to Accurate you are well below Minimum.

Sorry I worded that incorrectly. I meant 4.3 is the starting point. And it's from the LEE card that came with my 9mm dies.

Thanks for the info on xtreme bullets. I guess I must've missed that in a hurry this morning.
