Stun Gun for self defense? Bad idea!

It looks like one of those contact stun guns - worthless. Crooks at the gun show sell them to women who fall for it. Two of my friends' wives bought them at the last show and were all excited that they would knock a man down. I took one of my buddies aside and clued him in.
 
I don't go near Atlanta without my .45, and my j frame 38 as my back up gun. But why did the guy have his doors unlocked so the bg could jump in the car?
